When do Resy reservations open? Every drop time in New York and LA

Short answer: Each restaurant sets its own schedule. Most hard-to-get Resy restaurants open a rolling 7 to 30 days ahead at a fixed time every day, usually between 9 and 10 AM local time; some drop at midnight, and a few, like Le Bernardin, release a whole month at once.
There's no single time when Resy reservations open. Every restaurant picks how far ahead it books and the minute new tables appear, and the hardest tables are usually gone within a minute of that drop. Here is every release time for the restaurants we track, plus how to read them.
How Resy release windows work
Most restaurants use a rolling window. Every day at the drop time, one new date becomes bookable. If a restaurant books 30 days out at 10:00 AM, then at 10:00 AM today the date 30 days from now opens.
Windows are often described inclusively. A restaurant that says "21 days in advance" may open the date 20 days after today, so always count from the restaurant's actual calendar.
A few restaurants use monthly releases instead, opening an entire month at once on a set day.

Watch the time zone
- New York drops are in Eastern Time (ET); Los Angeles drops are in Pacific Time (PT).
- 9:00 AM PT is 12:00 PM ET. If you're booking LA from the East Coast, the drop lands at lunchtime.
- Midnight drops, like Vandell's, open at the very start of the day, which is late the previous night for most people.
How to be ready for any drop
- Find your target date, then count back the restaurant's window to get your drop day.
- Be signed in to Resy with a saved payment method a few minutes early.
- Decide on two or three acceptable times in advance. Prime slots go in seconds.
- Early-week dates and the first or last seatings of the night are the easiest to land.
